To celebrate their work, and say thank you to you, we’ve made a limited edition, double 12” vinyl sampler. It features a track from each of the artists we’ve worked with this year. It won’t be available to buy anywhere. We would like to give you a copy of the XL Recordings Sampler 2011. If you’d like a copy of the sampler, email your postal address to XL11@xlrecordings.com and we’ll send you one, wherever you are in the world.  We have 1000 copies to give away. I could easily just say ‘fuck mtv” and give sound reasoning… But fuck it, what Ani Difranco sang is what I think: open fire on hollywood open fire on MTV open fire on NBC and CBS and ABC open fire on the NRA and all the lies they told us along the way open fire on each weapons manufacturer while he’s giving head to some republician senator.
